March 25, 2020

With spring now upon us, on the calendar anyway, we wanted to reach out to our customer base and inform you of how we at Stonepath will be approaching the season. We have been working normal schedules through the winter months and will be fully stocked and ready when planting season arrives. The levels of vegetables that we carry have been increased to meet anticipated increase in demand. We will still be doing the custom baskets and planters that we do for many of you, however, we ask that you drop off the containers to be filled outside the facility with your name on each piece. Discussions on how you wish to see them filled this season can be done by email or by phone at this point to maintain appropriate distance. At this point Stonepath is closed to the public and will remain closed until April 20th unless otherwise mandated.

As regards the Landscaping division, we will be starting our season when the weather and ground conditions permits (like always). We will be starting our season with projects booked in 2019 and welcome any inquiries for new projects for 2020. The landscape construction business allows for proper distancing and safe social practices so we do not anticipate problems serving our customers safely and effectively.

Changes and Updates

1. To make shopping easier for those who wish to remain isolated, we will be launching an on-line store. Customers will be able to browse and purchase our plant selection, seeds, bulk landscape products and bagged goods on-line. We will offer delivery, as well as contactless curbside pickup at the greenhouse or garden center. Payments can be processed on-line or at the point of pickup. The launch for this new service is scheduled for April 20th.

2. Planting seminars, normally held in April, are cancelled for the season.

3. Our annual Mothers Day Geranium Sale (which we have held each year for 22 years!) will be modified this year – to avoid crowding, we will be offering the same plants but will honour the 99¢ price point all season while existing quantities last.

4. We will be installing hand sanitizers in several locations throughout the facilities to ensure that our customers have easy access. Sanitary wipes will be provided for use on the shopping carts as well.

Our focus at Stonepath has not changed – we want to provide top quality service and products to our customer base and will do so once again this year. The changes in how we go about doing so are there to increase safety and allow for easy access to our products and services. We appreciate your business and wish you a safe and happy gardening season!
