Best Plants For A Sunny Dry Site

Watering your plants is always necessary during periods of prolonged drought in summer.  No plants can survive for too long in completely dry soil.

Here is a list of  sun loving plants which thrive in sandy soil and do not require watering in the bed or border except under prolonged dry conditions. These plants must  be watered until they become established in the beds. These plants include:
